IMPO’s Strategic Plan Report
The Indianapolis MPO created a strategic plan for the Central Indiana region. While the IMPO already plans regionally for transportation investments, there are other planning elements that have not historically been planned with regional coordination (land use, water, resiliency, etc.). The IMPO Policy Committee adopted the IMPO Strategic Plan on August 22, 2018.
IMPO’s Data RoadMAP
The Indianapolis MPO Data RoadMAP is intended to guide the IMPO’s investments in data, modeling, and analysis over the coming years. This document provides a list of recommended investments from 2022 through 2028, as well as some thoughts on potential investments beyond this period. The Data RoadMAP was revised in 2025, halfway through the current plan, to include updates on the IMPO’s progress thus far.
