Government Relations at the Statehouse
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Planning Organization (IMPO) released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Metropolitan Planning Organization for Government Relations at the Indiana State House. is seeking qualified legislative affairs support to represent and advance regional priorities during the 2027 Indiana General Assembly session. As the lead agency for coordinated regional planning across Central Indiana, IMPO works at the intersection of transportation, housing, economic development, land use, safety, sustainability, and overall quality-of-life concerns.

- The question submission period is now closed. The Questions Addendum is posted.
- Responses are due October 7, 2026 at 12:00pm.
- Interviews, if needed, are expected to take place on October 23, 2026.

• Any interested vendor is welcome to contact the project manager for informal discussions if a project has not yet released the RFP. Click the large blue button below to add yourself to a notification list for future procurement opportunities.
• Once an RFP is issued, the IMPO will compile questions submitted through the questions deadline, and post the question responses in an addendum shortly thereafter.
• After the questions deadline, communication is limited to scheduling interviews for shortlisted vendors and post-interview follow-up.
